4 & 5 Port Solenoid Valves and Manifolds
SJ series - The SJ series was developed by SMC to offer a small, low profile, low maintenance, 4-port solenoid valve and manifold. The series was designed in a cassette type format, uses a card-edge type connector, and is available in two compact sizes. The SJ2000 measures 7.5mm wide, while the large SJ3000 model is only 10mm wide. The SJ2000/3000 can be combined in the same manifold, which can provide up to 24 stations and 32 solenoids. The valves feature a special lock switch mechanism assuring they are securely locked together, and are compatible with Serial Interface units for both CC-Link and DeviceNet protocols.

SMC Valve SJ series
SV series - The SV series employs a multi-connector instead of the conventional lead wires for internal manifold wiring. By connecting each block with a connector, changes to manifold stations are greatly simplified. Cassette base type manifolds offer the ultimate in flexibility. Manifold sections can be added using a simple release mechanism. Conventional tie-rod base type manifolds are also available. The use of 34 pin connectors allows up to 16 stations with double solenoids.

VQC series - The VQC series has five standard wiring packages bringing a world of ease to wiring and maintenance work, while the protective enclosures of three of them conform to IP67 standards for protection from dust and moisture. The use of multi-pin connectors to replace wiring inside manifold blocks provides flexibility when adding stations or changing manifold configuration. The VQC series has outstanding response times and long life.

SMC Valve SY series
(New) SY series - SMC has improved product performance and reliability with the redesigned SY series valve. The SY3000 and SY5000 have the same valve width as their predecessors, but the flow has been increased by up to 80%, allowing the valve size to be reduced. A built-in strainer in the pilot valve prevents trouble caused by foreign matter. By using H-NBR seal material for the main valve and seals, Ozone resistance has been improved. Side, top and bottom port/pipe directions are available to allow flexible installation. The SY is available in body ported or base mounted styles, and can be used individually or manifold mounted.

VK series - The VK3000 series is a 5 port solenoid, direct poppet, rubber seal valve. It meets copper free specifications as all parts in contact with fluids are made of non-copper materials. A compact valve (width 18 x length 68mm), the VK3000 is available in a body ported or base mounted style.

VQD series - VQD1000 series 4 port, direct operated, poppet solenoid valve offers large flow capacity in a compact, lightweight body. Vacuum applications (up to -100kPa) are possible. Components of the VQD1000 valves that are in contact with fluid are all copper free. The VQD series offers a remarkably quick and stable response time.

VQ7 series - SMC's VQ7-6/7-8 series valve conforms to ISO standard 5591/I. A choice of metal or rubber seal increases compatibility with various operating and environmental conditions. Manifolds are available with a wide range of interface options to meet a variety of application requirements. The VQ7-6/7-8 has a smaller, space-saving profile and is lighter in weight than the VS7/VP7 series.

VSS/VSR series - VSS/VSR size 1, 2 & 3 are plug-in, base mounted interface valves conforming to ISO standards. The valve design offers maximum flexibility and is available in either a high flow rubber seal (model VSR), or matched ground spool and sleeve (model VSS). The lateral plug-in style manifold makes it easy to increase or decrease the manifold stations without wiring work. SQ series - The 5 port solenoid valves series SQ was designed for applications which demand high speed, high frequency, long life and a precise response time. The SQ series has an outstanding response time of 12ms or less for SQ1000, 20ms or less for SQ2000 and a life of 200 million cycles. A wide variety of options are available.

SX series - The SX series unique design combines both solenoid assemblies (when using double solenoid 2/3 position) on the same side of the valve, opposite the ports, allowing for greater space savings and simplified wiring access. The SX series valves are available with numerous manifold options which allow for easier installation and improved operation.

SZ series - Series SZ3000 is a 5 port solenoid valve, body ported type with a cassette style manifold. The SZ series offers high reliability and long life of 50 million cycles or more. The connector entry direction can be changed from top to side with a simple operation. Low power consumption and a fast response time of 10ms are obtained with a unique pilot valve construction.

VJ series - The VJ series is a rubber seal solenoid valve available in a body ported or base mounted version. The VJ3000 based mounted valve is offered in a 4 or 5 port style, while the body ported version is a 5 port valve. The VJ5000 and VJ7000 series, body ported and base mounted are 5 port. VF series - Series VF, a five port pilot solenoid valve, offers large flow capacity in a compact size. The VF is available in many variations including three types of manual override and four types of electrical entry. Common exhaust for main valve and pilot valve is also available.

VS7 series - Dimensions of SMC's VS7 series conform to ISO interface sizes 1 and 2. The pilot operated metal seal design allows the valve to be used with non-lube dry air and still maintain a long life. The VS7 is available in 2 or 3 position, double or single action. Manifolds are available with a large variety of functions and piping configurations.

SO700 series - SMC's S0700 series offers a compact valve and manifold design with high flow capacity. The 5 port solenoid valve has a 7mm width, and is available in both plug-in and plug lead types. Applicable manifolds include serial transmission types, D-sub connectors, flat ribbon cable, PC wiring system compatible, flat ribbon cable, terminal block, lead wire, and circulator connectors.

VV061 series - The VV061 series is a direct operated 3-way solenoid valve designed for 4 and 8 station units with integrated compact manifold, valve, circuit board, base and fittings forming a single compact unit. VV061 series model has an optional power saving circuit that can be used for long-term continuous duty. This unit is available with one-touch or barb fitting and an optional connector cable with lengths of 300, 600, or 1000mm.

VS series - Series VS is a 3 port direct operated valve with metal seal. Body ported and base mounted styles are available. Multiple pressure supply is possible with balanced spool and sleeve. Any given port can accept high or low pressure supply without affecting the system life or operation. No-lubrication and dry-air operation is possible.

VG series - Series VG342 is a 3 port pilot poppet solenoid valve and can be used as a selector or divider valve (external pilot). Actuation is changeable between N.C., N.O., or external pilot types. VG342 is possible to use in vacuum or under low pressures. No lubrication is required.

This space saving series is 10mm wide, designed in a cassette type format and uses a card-edge type connector. VKF series - A 3-port, direct operated poppet solenoid valve, series VKF300 is compact (body width 18mm), yet still provides a large flow capacity. The VKF300 manual overrides are located in 2 directions, on the top and on the side of the valve, providing easy manual operation unaffected by mounting space and piping direction. FKM (Fluoro rubber) is used for the fluid-contact rubber materials, allowing use even in ozone environments.

VP series - SMC's VP300/500/700 series solenoid valve, offers high flow capacity and reduced power consumption (1.55W standard, 0.55W with power saving circuit). The VP series may be used as either a selector valve, or a divider valve. It is available in a normally closed or a normally open style. The series is vacuum applicable up to –101.2kPa.

VT series - Series VT 3port, direct operated poppet valves are compact in size, yet provide large flow capacity, and low power consumption. The series is suitable for use in vacuum applications. The VT valve is a single valve with 6 functions (universal porting type) such as N.C. valve, N.O. valve, divider valve, selector valve, etc. The manifold style valve, series VO, can be easily converted from N.C. (normally closed) to N.O. (normally open) by merely turning over the switch cover.

VCH series - Series VCH 2 and 3 port, pilot operated, solenoid valves offer improved durability under a high pressure environment. Designed for use with air or inert gas, the VCH valve can operate up to a maximum pressure of 5.0MPa. Large flow passages and ISO 1179-1 conforming port thread sizes of G1/2 to G1 ensure high flow rates, and due to a reduction in the overall volume of the pilot chamber, the VCH's responsiveness can now only be measured in milliseconds. Non-collision armature construction, rubber buffers and a urethane diaphragm give the VCH series an expected service life of 10 million cycles.

2 Port Solenoid Valves and Manifolds
VX series - Series VX21/22/23, direct operated 2 port solenoid valve for air, gas, vacuum, water, steam and oil. Proper selection of body and sealing materials permits application of a wide variety of fluids. Application can be matched by simply choosing body materials (brass, stainless steel), seal materials (NBR, EPR, FPM, PTFE) and the solenoid coil (class B, class H).

SGC series - Series SGC coolant valve, with both CE and RoHS accreditation, provides the perfect solution for high speed machining. Due to the SGC’s unique scraper, squeeze seal, grease channel and dry bearing construction, the valve’s service life will exceed 5 million cycles. The introduction of a built-in magnet allows auto switches to be fitted, enabling confirmation of whether the valve is open or closed. The SGC is available in air operated, and external pilot solenoid types.

VCH series - Series VCH 2 and 3 port, pilot operated, solenoid valves offer improved durability under a high pressure environment. VN series - The VN external pilot solenoid series offers 5 models of 2 and 3 port valves for general purpose use. Model VNA process valve is for compressed air and air-hydro circuit control. Model VNB for flow control permits application with a wide variety of fluids such as air, water, oil, gas and vacuum. VNC is a coolant valve available in a wide selection of port sizes and variations. The high pressure coolant valve, series VNH, is ideal for lubrication, dust blowing and cooling. By the adoption of a PTFE seal, the VND valve is suited for steam applications (max. 180°C).

VXE series - SMC has developed the VXE series energy saving type, 2 port solenoid valve to help with environmental issues. The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) method was used to allow for less power consumption. By reducing the energy consumption we have also reduced the heat produced by the coil. This series is available in three styles VXE directed operated, VXED pilot operated, and VXEZ zero differential pressure type pilot operated. These valves are normally closed, 12 or 24VDC and are available for air, water, or oil applications.

VXS series - Developed with high performance in mind, SMC's series VXS 2 port solenoid valve is compact and lightweight, designed to operate with no need for differential pressure. The VXS is considerably quieter than similar valves due to its' special construction and full wave rectifier type solenoid. A piston main valve and special FKM material for both the valve and seal help reduce internal leakage to 1.0cm3/min or less, and improve life cycle and valve reliability. The VXS valve series is RoHS compliant and meets IP65 enclosure guidelines.

Proportional Valves
PVQ series - PVQ series, compact proportional solenoid valve, was desgined by SMC with a direct poppet construction. This construction enables low leakage, while de-energized. PVQ series has been used in applications such as air blow, flow control, hand piece control for dental unit and other respiratory equipment, as well as, cooling for laser machinery etc.

VEP series - A proportional control valve system provides the ability to infinitely control the position of the internal spool assembly which increases or decreases the amount of flow or pressure being released from the valve. SMC offers 2 types of proportional control valves, a pressure type (N)VEP which controls secondary pressure by varying the current through the solenoid, and a flow rate type (N)VEF which controls air flow by varying current through the solenoid.
