The Vision570™ is a powerful PLC with a built-in HMI Operator Panel, comprising a 5.7” color touchscreen display. On-board I/Os can be added by simply snapping a module onto the back of the PLC; Snap-in I/O Modules come in several configurations. I/O Expansion modules enable integrating up to 171 I/Os per Vision PLC.

The Vision570™ offers a rich range of embedded features such as multiple auto-tuned PID loops, and internal 120K database for datalogging and recipe programming. Communication options include TCP/IP Ethernet, GSM/SMS, MODBUS and CANopen networking plus remote access for data acquisition and program download.

2MB Ladder code application memory (plus 6MB for images and 1MB for fonts) enable the Vision570™ to run complex control and automation tasks. The 256-color touchscreen HMI enables the display of color-coded operator instructions and red, attention-grabbing alarm screens. It can also display graphs according to historical values—to reflect trends of recorded data. Display options are almost endless with more than 1000 user-designed screens, and up to 500 images per application.

• Expanding I/O support to a maximum of 512 points enables using the Vision PLCs in larger machines and systems, such as conveyors, paper handling and printing.
• Using the EX-RC1 enables placing the Vision units at a convenient operator stand, and distributing I/Os in different locations on the machine, with a single wire (CANbus) running between the units.
• It's possible to connect several PLCs and several expansion adapters in one CANbus network, for maximum system design flexibility.
• Automatic configuration- if the EX-RC1 is connected to digital I/Os only it automatically recognizes the modules that are attached to it. No further configuration is required. Configuration is required only if you wish to connect the EX-RC1 to analog/temp/LC modules.
• The EX-RC1 is a "smart" unit, that enables creating local basic logic, relevant to the I/Os that are attached to it. This option simplifies creating the main control application on the PLC.
