 Hydraulic Training
Airline’s hydraulic training classes are a great benefit to assembly personnel, engineers, purchasing agents, technicians, maintenance personnel and new employees in the industrial and mobile fluid power industries. These courses will allow the student to be more productive in their jobs and more informed about the equipment they repair, produce or operate. Our instructors have worked in the fluid power industry for many years. They have at their disposal excellent training materials and study references for the students to use, as well as visual aids, component cutaways and hands-on systems. Our classes are normally taught at Airline’s facilities, but arrangements can be made with our training group to have standard or specially designed courses held at your facility. Contact training@airlinehyd.com for more information. Rexroth Hydraulic Pump

Industrial Hydraulic Training (H1)

The Basic Industrial Hydraulic Course deals with the physical principles of force, pressure, and fluid flows. The relationship of these principles to the components and systems that power today’s industrial machinery is introduced. The primary discussions will center on component function, symbology and basic circuitry of a hydraulic system. The manual used is one of the clearest, best written books in the industry. Instruction is supplemented with component cutaways and the second day of class includes hands-on training using a hydraulic trainer unit (hydraulic trainer only available in Bensalem, PA). You will learn the benefits of proactive maintenance, system safety and basic troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.

Major topics include:
  • Hydraulic principles
  • Valves - directional, flow, pressure control
  • Pumps
  • Fluid selection
  • Reservoirs and piping
  • Filtration
  • Accessories
  • Actuators - cylinders, motors, rotary actuators

Hydraulic Troubleshooting (H2)

The Hydraulic Troubleshooting Course is designed to train people working with hydraulic systems to diagnose problems. This course will also delve into the proper installation of components and fluid conductors. Emphasis on preventive maintenance will show how to reduce the amount of troubleshooting required. We will work with schematics and cutaways of components. You will learn the proper steps to quickly analyze and pinpoint where a problem is centered and how to fix it.

Major topics include:
  • System schematics
  • Installation of components and conductors
  • Fluid analysis
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting- actuators, valves and pumps
  • System safety
