Drive & Motion Control Training
Airline now provides training on Bosch Rexroth Indramat servo system and drive components. The goal is to train personnel to be able to diagnose and replace servo system components. The course will present how servo systems work, including basic servo theory. Each component will be described, including theory of operation, physical layout and connections, how to diagnose faults, and what steps to take to correct problems. Machine interconnection diagrams for sample machines will be used to familiarize students with the machines and how the servo system interfaces with PLCs and other devices. Students will get hands-on experience with digital drives and power supplies by setting up parameters, performing diagnostics, loading and saving parameters.
After completion of the course, each student:
will understand how servo and drive systems work.
will be familiar with the interconnections and components of the servo systems.
can diagnose servo system errors and faults.
can replace drives, power supplies and load programs to drives.
Major topics include:
Basic Servo Theory
Motion Control Systems – Theory of Operations
Power Supplies
Drives
Motors
Setup and Diagnostics
Hands-on Exercises
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
