This holiday season, many employees of Airline Hydraulics Corporation collected and donated non-perishable food items to support local food drives. Airline Hydraulics Corporation Supports American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund

BENSALEM, PA – November 15, 2017 – Airline Hydraulics Corporation (“Airline”), a leading regional supplier of fluid power, automation, electrical control, and safety products and engineered systems, has donated a portion of their September and October e-commerce proceeds to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Pictured are Airline CEO, Mark Steffens, and digital marketing personnel, Zach Linsell and Jessica Ullestad, who were instrumental in establishing and promoting this charitable program on Airline’s new website.

Regarding this program, Mark commented, “At Airline, we were concerned for those devastated by the recent hurricanes and wanted to do something to help. At the same time, we were excited to launch a new website enabling our customers to purchase our products online. Giving a portion of this revenue to help the American Red Cross provide for the needs of hurricane victims fits our corporate values regarding social responsibility. We are grateful for the opportunity to help.”

Since August, the American Red Cross has responded to a string of crises—from major hurricanes impacting eight states and two U.S. territories to wildfires in the West. For Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, the Red Cross mobilized ahead of the storms to respond immediately to the needs of hundreds of thousands of people, providing shelter, meals, and relief and cleanup items to help hurricane survivors get back on their feet. While large disasters like hurricanes and wildfires typically draw national attention, each year the Red Cross uses disaster relief funds to respond to nearly 64,000 disasters—the majority of which are home fires.

Airline Hydraulics Corporation Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification

BENSALEM, PA – May 25, 2017 – Airline Hydraulics Corporation (“Airline”), a leading regional supplier of fluid power, automation, electrical control, and safety products and engineered systems, has received ISO 9001:2015 certification. This upgrade from Airline’s previous ISO 9001:2008 certification follows an extensive analysis of its quality systems by SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. This certification includes the Bensalem, PA headquarters and six other company locations. By achieving ISO 9001:2015 compliance, Airline is assuring customers of their commitment to consistent delivery of quality products and services.

Released in October 2015, ISO 9001:2015 is the latest release of the Quality Management System standard set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 9001:2015 provides a number of requirements that must be fulfilled in order to insure a continuous improvement environment that enhances customer satisfaction. SGS auditors confirmed that Airline’s Quality Management System is established and implemented at all of Airline’s certified sites in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

“Our compliance to the ISO 9001:2015 standard assures our customers that Airline has a formal Quality Management System in place. An organization with an effective Quality Management System will typically meet customer expectations far better than an organization without such a system. More and more organizations are requesting that their suppliers have ISO 9001:2015 certification. By achieving this certification, Airline will be more efficient, address potential quality or business risks, and increase the satisfaction of our customers,” stated Charles Accisano, Airline’s Quality Assurance Manager.

Joseph Miceli, Chief Executive Officer of Airline, added, “I am extremely proud of all of our employee/owners for the commitment, diligence, and hard work that all have contributed to achieve this certification. This also is validation of the past efforts and focus on Total Quality that Airline has been known for in the industry and with our customers, and now has culminated in achieving this important certification as official recognition of the processes to support our goal of customer satisfaction.”
